What are organic search results?
Each time a user enters a query, a search in keyword form in a search engine, the latter provides them in response, a page containing links, the results corresponding to the search he entered.
Each results page contains two types of results:
the paid results: are advertisements. An advertiser pays to have their ad displayed each time someone performs a specific query that matches the advertiser’s criteria.
organic search results: are links to websites, displayed as a list, which are selected based on their relevance to the terms searched.
How is website traffic measured?
Website traffic is measured through an analytics service called Google Analytics (to name the best known. It’s free). This service generates a code that you integrate into the pages of your site.
You can thus access various information: the number of visitors to your website, the pages visited, the browsers used, etc.
How useful is SEO?
SEO is beneficial for your website:
Your website shows up in the search results for the most profitable search queries.
You improve your ranking in search engines
You improve qualified traffic to your site (clicks, sales, customers, etc.)
Why do you need SEO?
You need SEO to increase the number of visitors to your site. SEO generates the majority of this valuable traffic.
You need to optimize your site for search engines so that your website is at the top of the results pages.

Natural referencing or SEO is the most effective way to rank at the top of the results pages without paying for advertising.
What is a search engine?
A search engine is a web service that searches for and identifies web pages, images, or videos – that best match the queries people enter.
How do Internet users use search engines?
Internet users are looking for information (cooking recipe, how to buy a train ticket, etc.). He asks his question on the search engine, for example, how to make bread? how are you going to paris? .. In response the search engine offers him a list of links to relevant sites that answer his question (the search engine result page). The Internet user clicks on the link and goes to the site that they find most relevant.
The principle of interaction with a search engine is as follows:
An Internet user searches for a solution to a problem
He enters his query (keyword) in the search engine
The first results proposed by the search engine are displayed as a list
He clicks on one of the first link
If the answer does not satisfy him, he returns to the results page
He modifies his request.
What does Crawler mean?
“Crawling” means crawling a website: its links, images, keywords, sections, articles .. by thousands of little robots. Crawlers detect hyperlinks on a website that point to other websites.
Bots periodically crawl the entire internet to update data.
What does “index” mean?
Once your website has been crawled by the crawlers, the crawlers index the crawled pages in their own database: the index.
Think of the index as a giant library of websites from around the world. It usually takes a while for a website to be indexed. In our experience, this is from 2 days to 4 weeks.
How does Google work?
In order to provide the most relevant results Google relies on the following elements:
Google crawlers search and process the information contained in web pages on the Net. Then it stores and organizes this information in its database, called a “search index”.
When a query is entered on Google, it searches its index to provide you with the most relevant results.
Google offers search results in different formats to better satisfy its users.
What is a web crawler?
The crawling of web pages is carried out by a robot, also called a spider or bot. He browses, systematically crawls the Internet in search of relevant information for his users.
How does the Google robot work?
Google’s robot is called Googlebot. This is a program designed to discover new web pages and updated pages. Its objective is to include them in its database. To perform this task, Google uses a large number of computers.
When Googlebot visits the pages of a site, it detects links and adds them to the list of pages to crawl. New sites, changes to existing sites, and inactive links are noted and used to update the search index.
In summary, it is important that Googlebot crawls and indexes your web pages, so that your site will generate traffic afterwards.
How to get Google to crawl your web pages, your website?
Googlebot uses an algorithm to determine the sites to analyze, the number of pages to crawl, index. There is no way to change this process. However, you can make sure that Googlebot comes to your site.
First of all :
Make sure Googlebot isn’t blocked.
Create a Sitemap file and send it to the Google Search Console. If you’ve recently added or edited a page on your site, you can ask Google to re-index your site.
How can you make sure that GoogleBot is not blocked?
If you prevent Googlebot from accessing your site:
you prevent it from crawling and indexing your pages.
You can potentially lose places in Google rankings.
If you think Googlebot might not be able to access your site, sign in to your Google Search Console account and check the following:
Google usually displays a prominent message if you prevent Googlebot from crawling your site.
Check the list of crawl errors and find the pages you think should be indexed. If such pages are flagged in the crawl error list, it means that Googlebot encountered a problem while trying to crawl this URL.
When you find a problematic URL, look for more detailed information about the problem.
How long does it take for Google to index a new site?
The time it takes, on average, for Google to index a new site can take anywhere from 2 days to 3 to 4 weeks. A lot of it depends on the quality of your website and the work done to optimize it for search engines.
How do Google search algorithms work?
In order to respond to Internet users in a relevant and useful way, Google must sort through hundreds of billions of web pages and index them.
To do this, Google’s ranking systems use a series of algorithms to: Analyze words – Google tries to understand the meaning of your search and choose the word strings to search for in the search index. It also involves interpreting misspellings, understanding synonyms, and applying some of the latest research in understanding natural language.
Then match a query: At the most basic level, Google analyzes the frequency and placement of keywords that match your query on a page. They also analyze if the pages include relevant content or if they are written in the same language as your question.
It ranks the pages: Using hundreds of factors, Google attempts to identify the best web pages that match your query. These include freshness of content, good user experience, website reliability and authority, etc. Google also identifies and removes sites that do not follow the guidelines of the Webmaster.
What is Google Search Console?
Search Console is one of Google’s tools for webmasters. It is a basic tool for SEO. It allows you to monitor the performance of your site. The search console helps you analyze your keyword ranking, your CTRs, possible Google penalties and many other useful information for technical referencing such as links, structural errors, etc.

2- The Meta Description tag
This tag is important because it can be used as a snippet in Google results pages. As with the “title” tag, the words in the snippet are in bold when they match the user’s request.
3- Offer quality content
Compelling and useful content will have a positive influence on your website as satisfied users will want to share it.
